Simillimum - Image of the Soul
Simillimum is the cornerstone of Homeopathy, the starting point of the journey and the true north of an individual. After two decades of Homeopathic practice, often just seeing a patient’s face or a photo can be enough to recognize their Soul remedy – the Simillimum. The Ayurvedic dosha of a patient provides another important clue, but one can also draw insights from the four humors of ancient Western medicine.

Simillimum first
When we consider all the themes a patient talks about—their totality—we can observe that some reflect their self, the Soul, while others are part of a complex web of influences from the people around them and the situations they are or have been in. Simillimum primarily addresses themes related to the patient’s self, the Soul, thereby strengthening the Vital Force.
After receiving their Simillimum, their Soul remedy, the patient is optimally prepared to enter their Personal Karmic Labyrinth and face all the challenges it brings.

Patient's Constitution - Dosha
During a conversation with a patient, their constitution and the way they express their thoughts and emotions are observed simultaneously. Attention is paid to what they talk about, how they speak – their gestures, tone, and manner of emotional expression. For instance, some may express emotions loudly and energetically, while others might cry or appear reserved. It is also noted whether they are introverted or extroverted, as all these characteristics provide insight into their essence and inner balance.
A patient’s constitution can be robust, delicate, athletic, or a combination of these, and each of these characteristics plays a key role in selecting the appropriate remedy. These physical aspects, combined with emotional and energetic traits, offer a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s individual pattern, helping to identify the remedy that most precisely matches their unique condition.
Furthermore, a patient’s preferences and reactions to specific foods have a significant impact on remedy selection. The food they enjoy, that agrees with them, as well as the food they dislike or find troubling, provides valuable insight into their inner balance. This information completes the overall picture and enables a more precise alignment of the remedy with the patient’s specific needs.
It is also important to consider differences arising from geographical origin and the environment in which the person currently lives. For example, Argentum nitricum may present differently in a person living in India compared to someone living in the United States. Cultural and environmental factors, dietary habits, climate, and even social norms shape the expression of constitution and symptoms, making it essential to take these into account when selecting a remedy to align it with the patient’s unique context.

The Next Step in Therapy
The next step is taken only when it is certain that the awakened vital force has completed its process of elevating, cleansing, and restoring the patient’s emotional energy and strength. This is carefully monitored through the patient’s condition – observing their overall state, appearance, emotional feelings, as well as the physical symptoms they are experiencing. When all these indicators suggest that the process is complete and the patient has achieved a new emotional balance, and at the same time, new symptoms emerge pointing to the opening of the Personal Karmic Labyrinth, the next step in therapy is carefully considered to proceed with addressing the karmic layers of the healing process.
