The network of related remedies around Lamium
Stellaria Media, Veronica Persica, Galium Aparine, Bellis Perennis, Glechoma Hederacea, and Lamium aAbum often grow alongside Lamium Purpureum, as its quiet botanical companions. For this reason, they may be understood as part of the same symbolic network of remedies — not because they are identical, but because they belong to the same living space of nature, in which their Codes touch, intertwine, and illuminate one another.
1. Stellaria Media with the Code: VISIBLE – INVISIBLE
In clinical practice, an interesting connection has been observed between Lamium and Stellaria Media. These two plants often grow together in nature. In the initial phase of growth, they are almost at the same height, but with its prostrate growth, Stellaria creates a soft ground layer through which Lamium can rise. In this way, Stellaria in a certain sense softens and supports the early growth of Lamium.
A similar dynamic has also been observed in therapeutic work. In one case, a patient whose remedy was Lamium came first, and shortly afterward another person came for treatment whose Simillimum was Stellaria Media. In clinical practice, there has also been a recorded case in which the biological sister of a Lamium patient had a structure corresponding to the remedy Stellaria Media, which further confirms their complementary connection.
In a symbolic sense, one may say that these two structures act complementarily: Lamium may represent the stronger, more penetrating principle that gives direction and example, while Stellaria brings support, softness, and the capacity for adaptation. In this way, Lamium may serve as a model for Stellaria, while Stellaria offers support to Lamium.
This is clinically very strong, because it shows:
• the relationship in nature
• the relationship in therapy
• the relationship even within the family
All of this is in fact very beautiful, because it connects:
• botany
• Matrix Codes
• clinical experience
• the symbolism of remedy relationships
How they grow in nature
In the early phase of spring, these two plants often grow in the same place. But their mode of growth is completely different:
Stellaria Media
• grows prostrate along the ground
• quickly creates a soft green base
• spreads horizontally
• covers the space and retains moisture
Lamium
• grows upright
• pushes upward through the vegetation
• has a stronger vertical impulse of growth
• easily rises above low plants
In nature, one can often see Lamium emerging out of the “carpet” of Stellaria.

Symbolism that corresponds with the Codes
This is almost a perfect natural metaphor for what the Matrix Method describes:
Stellaria Media:
VISIBLE – INVISIBLE
• adaptable
• softer
• spreads discreetly
• creates the ground layer
Lamium
ATTACK – DEFENSE
• penetrating energy
• vertical strength
• clear presence
• reaction and protection
That is why in nature we often see this image:Stellaria creates the space – Lamium occupies it.
Why this clinical observation is especially interesting
In therapy, I observed the same dynamic:
• first the Lamium patient
• then the Stellaria patient
and the relationship:
• Lamium – model
• Stellaria – support
This corresponds almost perfectly with their way of growing in nature.
Interestingly, the same dynamic can also be observed in nature. Stellaria media often grows prostrate along the ground, creating a soft green layer through which Lamium, with its upright growth, pushes upward. This botanical image almost symbolically reflects their complementary relationship in clinical practice as well.
This is a very elegant union of botany and the Matrix Method.

There is another very interesting fact about Lamium and Stellaria media — they appear in nature at the same time. This is not accidental.
Early spring cycle
Both plants belong to the earliest spring plants. They begin to grow as soon as the soil softens a little after winter, often already at the end of winter or very early in spring.
But the way in which they appear is once again very different.
Stellaria Media
• grows quickly and low
• spreads horizontally
• creates a green carpet
• preserves moisture in the soil
• is very adaptable and quiet
Lamium
• grows upright
• appears above that green layer
• quickly becomes visible
• has stronger and more striking flowers
That is why in nature one often sees the same scene:
Stellaria covers the ground — Lamium rises above it.

Symbolism that corresponds with the Matrix Codes
Stellaria Media – VISIBLE / INVISIBLE
• discreet
• adaptable
• creates the ground layer
• often remains unnoticed
Lamium – ATTACK / DEFENSE
• penetrating growth
• strong presence
• clearly visible
• reacts
In nature, this looks like a small scene:the soft carpet of Stellaria → Lamium breaking through it.
It is interesting that Lamium and Stellaria media often appear together already in the early spring months. While Stellaria, with its prostrate growth, forms a green carpet along the ground, Lamium, with its upright stems, rises above that layer. This botanical image almost symbolically reflects their complementary relationship in clinical practice as well.

2. Veronica Persica
In the photograph, Lamium Purpureum can be clearly seen, with its pinkish-purple flowers and darker upper leaves, growing together with the tiny blue flowers of speedwell, most likely Veronica Persica. The strong, upright presence of Lamium and the delicate blue blossoms of Veronica create a striking image of a plant community in which different forms of life touch, accompany, and mutually accentuate one another.

Lamium Purpureum with the tiny blue flowers of Veronica as its companion within the same plant community.
3. Galium Aparine with the Code: ENTANGLEMENT – DISENTANGLEMENT
In nature, Lamium does not appear as an isolated plant, but as part of a living botanical network. It is precisely within this community with other species that another layer of its meaning becomes visible. In this photograph, Lamium Purpureum grows together with Galium, a plant whose net-like structure acts as a natural symbol of intertwining, connection, and the quiet enveloping of the space around it.

4. Bellis Perennis with the Code: GUILT – INNOCENCE
In this photograph, Bellis Perennis and Lamium Purpureum grow together within the same spring plant community. The clear whiteness and openness of Bellis stand beside the purple, powerful structure of Lamium, creating a vivid image of shared growth and natural connectedness among plants.

5. Glechoma Hederacea
On the same ground, by the roadside, Glechoma and Lamium have met. One in a bluish whisper, the other in a pink opening, they grow together like two kindred plants of related origin, yet of different expression. Their intertwining in the photograph reveals a natural harmony — gentle, modest, and alive.

6. Lamium Album – white dead-nettle
Lamium Album and Lamium Purpureum stand side by side like the white and red sides of the same botanical story.
In the meeting of Lamium Album and Lamium Purpureum, the quiet closeness of two kindred forms is revealed — different in expression, yet connected by the same botanical origin.
Together, they create an image of botanical kinship, in which whiteness and purple complement one another within the same space.
They appear together like two voices of the same family — one lighter, the other deeper, yet both rooted in the same silence of the earth.

White dead-nettle (Lamium Album) and red dead-nettle (Lamium Purpureum), with the discreet presence of Stellaria, the faithful companion that is almost always there.
Lamium at the center of its botanical network
In nature, Lamium does not appear as a solitary plant, but as part of a living spring community. Around it grow tiny botanical companions that share with it the same space, the same light, and the same earth. It is precisely in this closeness and shared growth that the natural network of life becomes visible — a network in which plants do not merely touch, but also accentuate one another.
In this photograph, Lamium appears almost maternal:
it stands at the center of the plant community, surrounded by smaller companions, as though gathering them and holding them together. This image strongly reflects the patient’s own words — that throughout her life, she had been like a mother to everyone.

Pre-Code
1. Pre-Code – Lycopodium Clavatum with the Code: PRIDE – SHAME
Lamium often takes as its model a structure that resembles Lycopodium. Lycopodium represents stability, rationality, success, and groundedness — qualities toward which Lamium naturally strives. Within the Lycopodium structure, there is clarity in organization, the capacity for strategic thinking, and control of the situation, which gives Lamium a model it attempts to follow.
If Lamium directs its energy toward education, organization, or the leadership of an institution, Lycopodium may in that case offer strong support, especially in the sphere of school, knowledge, and systems of work. The rationality, structure, and managerial capacity that Lycopodium carries then allow Lamium to channel its energy toward successful leadership and organization.
However, when a situation of shame or humiliation appears, especially within the family or social environment, the Pre-Code of Lycopodium (PRIDE – SHAME) becomes activated. At that moment, Lamium loses the stability it is trying to maintain through the Lycopodium structure.
With the opening of the Pre-Code, a powerful transition occurs toward the fundamental Code of Lamium. Then its primary dynamic is activated:ATTACK – DEFENSE
Lamium then reacts instinctively and combatively — either entering into attack in order to restore lost pride, or moving into defense in order to protect itself and its loved ones. In this way, the Pre-Code of Lycopodium acts as a trigger that sets in motion the full force of the Lamium structure.
This is a very strong theoretical section because it shows:
• the Pre-Code (Lycopodium)
• the trigger (humiliation / shame)
• the opening of the Code (Attack – Defense)
Lycopodium – a structure that spreads along the ground
Lycopodium clavatum is a very ancient plant (a relic of primordial forests). Its mode of growth is characteristic
• it creeps horizontally along the ground
• it spreads slowly and steadily
• it builds a long structure
• only occasionally does it raise small shoots
This is almost a perfect botanical metaphor for Lycopodium psychology:
• rational control
• maintenance of structure
• the need for a stable position
• protection of dignity (PRIDE – SHAME)
Lamium – an energy that breaks upward
Lamium has a completely different impulse of growth:
• vertical emergence from the ground
• rapid growth
• a strong stem
• a clearly visible flower
This is a very similar metaphor for the Code: ATTACK – DEFENSE
• reaction
• penetration
• combativeness
• clear presence
A symbolic transition can be seen:
Lycopodium (Pre-Code) horizontal, stable structure: PRIDE – SHAME.
Lamium (Code)vertical reaction: ATTACK – DEFENSE
In other words:when the Lycopodium structure breaks → the energy erupts as Lamium.
Interestingly, even in a botanical sense, a certain symbolic difference between these plants can be observed. While Lycopodium grows prostrate and stably along the forest floor,Lamium has a distinctly upright growth that clearly stands out from the vegetation. This difference in the mode of growth almost metaphorically reflects the transition from the structure of the Pre-Code to the penetrating reaction of the Code.
2. Pre-Code – Crotalus Cascavella with the Code: FREE – TRAPPED
Another important pre-Code that can be recognized in the structure of Lamium is Crotalus Cascavella, with the Code: FREE – TRAPPED.
When this pre-Code becomes activated, Lamium begins to feel a strong inner experience of entrapment. It is as though there is not enough space to breathe freely, to act, or to live in accordance with oneself. From this state, intense inner tension, fears, and worries may arise, sometimes reaching a very high level. In such moments, thoughts and reactions of an almost paranoid character may appear in the psychological dynamic.
At such times, Lamium reacts through its fundamental Code ATTACK – DEFENSE. The feeling of entrapment sets in motion a powerful need to break out of pressure and from a threatening framework, so the reaction may become very sharp, and at times even physically aggressive.
In the clinical case of one Lamium patient, her partner described that in certain situations she could react very aggressively. However, it is important to emphasize that such a reaction was not personally directed against the other person, but represented an expression of a strong inner energy arising from the feeling of being pressed, restrained, or trapped.
This dynamic may be connected with the symbolism of the snake Crotalus Cascavella. Just as a snake reacts suddenly when it feels threatened or cornered, so Lamium may pass very quickly from a state of apparent calm into a strong defensive reaction.
At the same time, the feeling of entrapment often creates a need for external supports that give an impression of stability and control. For this reason, the Lamium structure may show a marked need for material values, orderliness, fashion, and outward appearance, because all these help to establish a sense of control in a world experienced as constricted, pressured, or limiting.
Similar remedies
1. Urtica Urens
Lamium and Urtica share certain similarities in outward impression and in the energy of reaction. Urtica is known for its strong response to touch — stinging and sudden irritation of the skin. This reaction may symbolically resemble the dynamic of quick reaction that is encountered in the Lamium structure.
However, while in Urtica the reaction is primarily physical and irritative, in Lamium the same energy is manifested more on the psychological plane through the polarity ATTACK – DEFENSE.
It is also interesting that Lamium resembles nettle in appearance, yet does not sting, which creates a certain symbolic parallel between outward similarity and a different mode of reaction.
It is interesting that in nature Lamium often resembles nettle, although it does not possess its sting. This botanical mimicry creates an impression of danger and in that way protects the plant. This characteristic almost symbolically reflects the psychological dynamic of the Lamium structure as well, in which outer sharpness often represents a form of protection.
2. Lachesis Muta with the Code: YOUTH – OLD AGE
Certain similarities can be observed between Lamium and Lachesis Muta in the dynamics of behavior. In both remedies, there is a theme of strong reaction and readiness to attack, but at the same time there is also a layer of inner fear and insecurity.
Both structures show a strong instinct of protection, especially when offspring are concerned. In situations where they feel that one of their own is threatened, the reaction may be very intense and protective.
In both remedies, one may also notice a strong business energy. People who correspond to these structures often have the ability to lead businesses, organize work, and manage companies. Their speech is direct, strong, and without restraint — they often openly say what they think.
It is interesting that in both remedies one may also notice a marked concern with preserving youth and outward appearance. People who correspond to these remedies often seek to maintain a youthful appearance and are willing to use various cosmetic treatments in order to achieve this.
Nevertheless, there is also an important difference between these two remedies. While in Lachesis the serpent energy of intensity and transformation is emphasized between the polarity YOUTH – OLD AGE, in Lamium the reaction is manifested more through the dynamic ATTACK – DEFENSE.
The outward directness and combativeness of Lamium often represent a way of protecting inner sensitivity, because behind the strong outer manner, the Lamium structure often carries a softer and more vulnerable inner nature.
This now has a clear structure:
• similarities
• protection of offspring
• business energy
• appearance and youth
• the key difference between the remedies
Difference in the direction of energy
Lachesis
• the energy moves from within outward
• there is inner pressure
• speech erupts
• emotions build until they explode
This is a very serpent-like dynamic:tension → outpouring → discharge
Code:YOUTH – OLD AGE
Here there is a constant tension of time, life, and transformation.
Lamium
In Lamium, the dynamic is different. The energy is more reactive.
• first there is an external stimulus
• someone crosses a boundary
• the person feels threatened or humiliated
• only then does the reaction come
That is why the Code of Lamium is: ATTACK – DEFENSE
Attack is not initial aggression, but a reaction of protection.
Unlike Lachesis, in which aggressive energy often bursts forth from inner tension, in Lamium the reaction most often appears as a response to external threat.Attack then becomes a form of protection, not of initial domination.
This shows:
• Lachesis → eruptive aggression
• Lamium → protective reaction
Complementary remedy
1. Arsenicum Iodatum
In clinical work, an interesting complementarity has been observed between the structure of Lamium and the remedy Arsenicum Iodatum.
Lamium carries a strong, direct, and combative energy. Its nature is oriented toward breakthrough, action, and forward movement. In this dynamic, impulse, the strength of reaction, and the need to act quickly often predominate.
Arsenicum Iodatum brings a different quality. It introduces strength, vitality, and the energy of change, but at the same time it takes over part of the burden that Lamium often feels in social relationships. Ars-iod carries the capacity to deal with authorities, rules, and social structures.
In this way, Lamium gains a sense of relief. While Lamium pulls forward and sets things in motion, Arsenicum Iodatum in a certain sense softens the tension, stabilizes the situation, and restores balance in relationships with the environment.
Within this dynamic, both remedies share one very important quality — tireless working energy. Both Lamium and Arsenicum Iodatum are exceptionally hardworking and have a strong need to remain constantly active and productive. For this reason, together they may successfully participate in the creation and maintenance of different life projects — whether in school, work, organization, or the arrangement of home and garden.
This creative energy may also express itself on a deeper level — in the creation of new life. In this sense, this combination carries the potential not only for building projects, but also for creating and protecting a child, which further intensifies their shared instinct of work, care, and responsibility.
In such a union, Lamium gives movement, breakthrough, and initiative, while Arsenicum Iodatum brings stability, structure, and a sense of security. Together, they create a dynamic in which the energy of movement and the energy of stability complement one another and make lasting action possible.
2. Magnesium Phosphoricum with the Code: ANGER – PEACE
In clinical work, an interesting complementarity can also be observed between Lamium and the remedy Magnesium Phosphoricum. Both remedies carry strong energy, passion, and dynamism. In both, there is a marked vitality, emotional intensity, and a need for a living, fulfilling relationship with the world.
Mag-Phos offers Lamium support, attention, and companionship. It brings the qualities of tenderness, emotional warmth, bodily pleasure, care, and love. With it, Lamium is able to relax, soften its combative outer form, and experience peace, closeness, and satisfaction in relationship more deeply.
On the other hand, Lamium gives Mag-Phos strength, knowledge, initiative, organization, and the ability to set things in motion and carry them through. While Mag-phos brings softness and emotional fullness, Lamium gives direction, the energy of action, and stability in activity.
Together, these two remedies act harmoniously and happily. Their relationship may be understood as a union of strength and tenderness, movement and peace, protection and love. Lamium brings breakthrough and organization, while Mag-Phos brings comfort, warmth, and harmony, so that within this complementarity there arises a sense of mutual completion and fullness of life.
Lamium – where reaction transforms into conscious direction.

Lamium – between attack and defense, awareness chooses the moment.
Lamium as a Karmic remedy:
· Uterus
· AVM / arteriovenous malformation – most often a congenital vascular anomaly, that is, an abnormal tangle of blood vessels with a direct flow of blood from arteries to veins, without a normal capillary network, i.e. with an arteriovenous shunt. In the brain, such changes may be associated with neurological symptoms, including epileptic seizures, and in cases of bleeding or the presence of certain risk characteristics, they may sometimes require urgent neurosurgical treatment.
· Hodgkin’s disease
· Lingua geographica, fissures on the tongue
· Ear inflammations
· Skin changes
Cravings: dough in all forms — pies, pastries, bread; cheeses; salads; she especially loves beetroot, which she eats in very large quantities.
Aversions: meat, especially pork, which causes vomiting; fat; cooking in fat.
Ameliorates: water (they have a jacuzzi in the yard), the sea, warm weather, summer, heat.
Aggravates: cold; she does not drink cold beverages; carbonated drinks — as soon as she drinks them, she immediately becomes ill, usually it begins with the throat and then develops into flu. Sour food bothers her and burns her tongue. Winter is very hard on her — then she sleeps “like a bear.”

Symbols
1. Teeth
The Lamium flower looks almost like a small open mouth with teeth. This is a botanical detail that many people do not notice, but it becomes very interesting when connected with the theme of teeth and biting.

The flower of Lamium has a characteristic bilabiate shape. When observed carefully, it may resemble an open mouth with tiny teeth. This botanical image carries an interesting symbolism. In nature, teeth are among the basic instruments of defense and attack. They represent the boundary between the outer world and the inner space of the organism.
In this sense, the symbol of teeth reflects very well
the polarity of the Code of Lamium: ATTACK – DEFENSE. Teeth can be instruments of attack, but at the same time they also serve as protection — clearly marking the boundary that others should not cross.
In clinical practice, an interesting parallel also appeared. One Lamium patient was employed as an English translator in a dental office. Over time, she developed a great interest in dentistry, so much so that the dentist taught her basic dental procedures — to remove tartar and carry out simple examinations of patients, almost like a dental nurse. The patient herself said that this work was very interesting to her
and that she had a strong desire to learn it.
This clinical detail further illuminates the symbolism of Lamium. Just as the flower of the plant resembles an open mouth with teeth, so in the life dynamics of the patient there appeared a strong attraction precisely toward the field of teeth and oral protection.
In a symbolic sense, the teeth of Lamium guard the boundary. They may attack, but above all they serve to protect what is inside.

2. Wasp / Hornet
Another strong symbol of Lamium is the wasp or hornet. Unlike the bee, which attacks mainly in defense of the hive, the wasp shows a more pronounced readiness to attack and appears far more combative. Its reaction is quick, direct, and at times sudden.
In nature, the wasp constantly defends its space. If someone enters its territory or approaches the nest, the reaction may be very sharp. The sting is fast and precise — a clear signal that the boundary has been crossed.
This dynamic strongly resembles the psychological structure of the Lamium person. Lamium often appears strong, penetrating, and ready to react. When it feels that its space has been violated, or that it or one of its own is threatened, it may react suddenly and directly, almost like a sting.
Yet, as with the wasp, this reaction most often has a protective function. It is not necessarily an expression of aggression, but a way of defending territory, dignity, or what the person considers her own.
In this sense, the wasp or hornet very clearly symbolizes the polarity of the Lamium Code: ATTACK – DEFENSE.

Symbol of Lamium – the wasp and the helmet
In the image, two strong symbols of Lamium appear: the wasp and the helmet. The wasp represents the energy of quick response, the instinctive reaction that arises when space or dignity is threatened. Its sting is sudden, precise, and decisive — like the moment in which the Lamium person passes from a state of observation into a state of action.
The helmet, on the other hand, symbolizes protection. It protects the head, the most sensitive part of the body, and represents readiness for battle, but also the need to preserve one’s own integrity.
Together, the wasp and the helmet depict the two poles of the same dynamic: readiness to attack and the need to defend.
It is precisely this tension between reaction and protection that forms the fundamental polarity of the Lamium Code: ATTACK – DEFENSE.

The wasp and the helmet symbolize the dynamic of Lamium. The wasp represents a quick and decisive reaction when territory is threatened, while the helmet signifies the need for protection.Together, they express the fundamental polarity of this remedy:
ATTACK – DEFENSE.
3. Amazon
The third symbol of Lamium may be recognized in the archetypal image of the Amazon — the warrior woman. In mythology, the Amazons were strong, courageous women, known for their combativeness, independence, and readiness to protect their people and their territory. They were warriors, yet at the same time women of striking beauty and powerful presence.
This image strongly resembles the psychological structure of the Lamium person. The Lamium woman often appears strong, direct, and combative. Her energy may be penetrating, and her reaction quick when she feels that she or someone of her own is threatened. In such situations, she is ready to stand in defense without hesitation.
At the same time, behind this combative exterior there is often also a marked femininity, attractiveness, and sensuality. It is precisely in this union of strength and beauty that one may recognize the symbolism of Venus and the Moon — attraction and emotion joined with the instinct of protection.
The Amazon therefore represents a powerful archetypal image of Lamium:
a woman who knows how to attack when necessary, but above all defends what she considers her own. In this dynamic, the polarity of the Code once again becomes clearly visible: ATTACK – DEFENSE.

4 School
Another interesting symbol that appeared in clinical practice is the school. One Lamium patient opened an English language school and personally organizes almost every aspect of its work — from teaching to administration and the management of the entire system.
Her speech is clear, accurate, and precise, which is very important in working with students. At the same time, there is also a certain softness in her communication, because of which children love her and readily respond to her way of teaching.
However, alongside this warmth, there is also another side of the Lamium structure. When it comes to the organization of work and the responsibility of employees, she can be very strict and decisive. In the school, she is known for setting clear rules and for being able to dismiss a worker without hesitation if the job has not been done properly. Because of this, some employees have complained that she appears sharp
and that she sometimes makes decisions “coldly.”
This combination of traits enables her to be a good manager. She is meticulous, caring, and devoted to her work, yet at the same time sufficiently decisive to protect the system she leads. She is also actively involved in organizational matters, politics, and administration, which allows her to oversee all aspects of the school’s functioning.
In a symbolic sense, the school represents a space of order, knowledge, and organization. In this example,
it reflects Lamium’s ability to show softness in working with people and at the same time decisiveness in protecting the structure it leads.

The Lamium person speaks clearly, precisely, and with confidence, which allows her to transmit knowledge to others with ease. Behind the warmth that children feel, there is a strong organizational energy, capable of leading a system, setting rules, and making decisive decisions when necessary.
5. Sibyl
The Sibyls were prophetess-women in ancient Greece and Rome who were believed to possess the gift of clairvoyance and prophecy. They were thought able to see what is hidden — future events, the destiny of individuals, or concealed truths. People came to them for counsel, much as people today may go to psychics, seers, or fortune-tellers.
The most famous is the Cumaean Sibyl from Roman mythology, who lived in a cave and delivered prophecies. Her prophetic words were often short, direct, and without embellishment, sometimes even shocking — yet later they proved to be true.
In a symbolic sense, the Sibyl represents a woman who:
• has pronounced intuition or foreknowledge
• speaks directly and without restraint
• sees what others do not see
• is connected with mysticism and hidden knowledge

In certain cases, the Lamium person shows an interest in different forms of intuition, foreboding, and symbolic interpretation of events. It is not uncommon for such individuals to be drawn to people who practice divination or various forms of traditional folk “magic.” In their lives, unusual situations sometimes arise in which someone seems to say exactly what is truly happening in their life.
This tendency may be connected with a pronounced intuitive perception. The Lamium person often says something directly and without hesitation, at times almost prophetically, as though clearly seeing what others are only beginning to sense.
In a symbolic sense, this dimension of Lamium may be represented through the archetypal image of the Prophetess — a person who speaks openly, without embellishment, and at times utters a truth that may seem unexpected or even shocking.
6. Transport aircraft – a structure that carries and releases
In the analogy of a transport aircraft, the important element is not only entry into a space, but also exit from it. A large transport aircraft in the air opens its rear ramp, and from it a smaller aircraft or cargo emerges, which then continues independently.
If this image is applied to the structure of the Lamium flower, the lower lip of the flower may be seen as an open ramp, while the inner space of the flower resembles a hangar from which something is released.
In a symbolic sense, the emphasis here is not only on the control of access, but also on the function of carrying and letting go.
Clinical parallel
This symbolism may have an interesting parallel in the clinical picture. The Lamium person often shows a strong protective instinct toward her child, as though carrying and protecting a being that must later continue its own path.
In one clinical case, a Lamium patient was the mother of a child for whom she cared deeply and whom she carefully protected. The child was of slighter build and appeared more fragile, which further intensified her sense of responsibility and protectiveness.
In this dynamic, one may recognize the symbolism of a large aircraft carrying a smaller aircraft — a structure that protects, carries, and at the right moment enables release.
Matrix interpretation
In Matrix methodology, this symbol once again illuminates the fundamental dynamic of the Code:
ATTACK — DEFENSE
Lamium not only defends space and boundaries, but often also takes on the role of the one who carries and protects the weaker being until it is ready to continue its own journey.
· the large aircraft = the Lamium structure that carries
· the ramp = the platform / opening of the flower
· the small aircraft = the child that is carried and released at the right moment
· the inner tunnel = the hangar / protective space
This is in fact a very powerful visual metaphor for the clinical observation of the remedy Lamium.

The symbol of the transport aircraft in the structure of the Lamium flower.
Like a transport aircraft that opens its ramp in flight and releases a smaller aircraft, Lamium carries, protects, and at the right moment allows independent flight.
7. Fortress with a gate
Just as in medieval fortresses one entered the inner space through a gate that was strictly guarded, so too the flower of Lamium has a clearly defined entrance. The pollinator must approach, land on the platform, and then pass through a narrow opening in order to reach the nectar. During this passage, it comes into contact with the pollen and enables pollination.
This morphological structure shows that the plant does not receive visitors at random. The entrance exists, but it is controlled.
In a symbolic sense, Lamium may be seen as a fortress with a gate. There is a magnetism that attracts, but at the same time there is also a clearly defined boundary through which one must pass. Not everyone is free to enter — access is selective.
In Matrix methodology, this structure may represent yet another expression of the fundamental Code of Lamium:
ATTACK — DEFENSE
The gate does not serve only to receive guests, but also to decide who may enter.
In Lamium, nature has shaped precisely such a mechanism:
attraction, selection, and control of entry.

The gate of Lamium: like the gate of a fortress, the flower of Lamium attracts visitors, yet at the same time controls who may enter.
7. Trap
The flower of Lamium attracts pollinators by its nectar and color, but entry into the flower is not entirely free. The insect must land on the lower platform, pass through a narrow opening, and enter the interior of the flower. During this passage, it comes into contact with the pollen and becomes part of the pollination process.
In this way, the flower functions like a gentle natural trap: it attracts, directs, and controls the movement of the pollinator.
In a symbolic sense, Lamium shows the ability to attract attention and then take control of the situation. Magnetism is present, but the space is clearly structured and guided.

Matrix interpretation of the signature structure of the plant
We now have an entire architecture of symbols for the Code: ATTACK — DEFENSE
• 🏰 Fortress – protection of the structure
• 🚪 Gate – control of entry
• 🗼 Tower – vigilance and surveillance
• 🛬 Platform – attraction
• 🛡 Shield (leaf) – defense
• 👑 Crown – dominance of the summit
• ⚙️ Trap – attraction leading into control
This is truly fascinating, because in one small plant nature creates almost an entire military architecture.
And this corresponds perfectly to what we have described in Lamium patients:
• directness
• control of space
• selection of people
• elimination (weeds, bacteria)
• magnetism that attracts
• but also the need to maintain control

Symbolic image of Lamium
When all these symbols are viewed together, a complex and powerful symbolic image of Lamium appears before us. Within it meet the strength of the warrior woman, the instinct of protection, clarity of speech, and the intuitive perception of people and situations.
The teeth and the wasp point to readiness to react when a boundary has been violated. The Amazon represents the strength of the woman who protects her territory and her loved ones. The school reveals the ability of clear expression, organization, and the guidance of others. The Sibyl, in turn, symbolizes the intuitive dimension of Lamium — the ability to sense what others do not yet see and to speak the truth without hesitation.
The symbol of the fortress gate introduces yet another important dimension of Lamium: control of entry. As in medieval fortresses, the gate is the place where it is decided who may enter and who must remain outside. The Lamium structure carefully evaluates people and situations before allowing them into its inner space.
A similar symbolism is carried by the image of the trap. The trap does not react impulsively, but waits for the right moment. It represents Lamium’s ability to recognize danger and, when necessary, to react quickly and decisively.
A particularly strong symbolism appears in the image of the carrier aircraft bearing a smaller plane. The great aircraft opens its platform in flight, and from it a smaller craft emerges. This image speaks of protection and the carrying of another — of an energy that carries, protects, and enables another being to set out on its own path. In the psychological dynamic of Lamium, this is often seen as a strong protective concern for a child or a close person.
In this union of strength, intuition, protection, and directness, Lamium also recalls the archetypal figure of the Valkyrie from Norse mythology — a woman who simultaneously bears combative energy and the gift of prophetic insight.
Thus, within the Lamium structure, one encounters the fighter, the guardian of the gate, the protector, the organizer, the teacher, and the prophetess — different aspects of one and the same energy, which constantly oscillates between the two poles of its fundamental Code:
ATTACK – DEFENSE
In Lamium, nature has shaped a small fortress of consciousness: a gate that chooses, a trap that waits for the right moment, a voice that speaks the truth, and a heart that protects what it loves.

When the dynamics of ATTACK and DEFENSE are integrated,
the capacity for REFLECTION arises. As in the military architecture of a fortress,
every move is made only after observation and assessment.
The guards watch, the gate opens selectively, and the traps are set with deliberation.
In that state, reaction ceases to be an impulse and becomes a strategy.
Therefore, the Spiritual Quality of Lamium
is not struggle,
but REFLECTION.
